On June 29th, Shanghai Education Information Consulting Co., Ltd. (Ruanke for short) officially released the 2020 "Shanghai Ranking's Global Ranking of Academic Subjects". The discipline of "Environmental Science and Engineering" of our college ranks the 209th in the world, indicating that the discipline construction and internationalization construction of our college have made great progress, and it has already had an important influence at home and abroad. Shanghai Ruanke is a leading higher education evaluation institution in the world. The ranking of the world’s first-class disciplines is mainly based on a series of internationally comparable objective academic indicators such as international authoritative awards, top academic achievements, scientific research quality, and international cooperation, and measuring the performance of global universities in related discipilines. This year, Shanghai Ruanke has further optimized the evaluation system, replacing the original "total number of papers" with the "number of papers in important journals" to measure the high-level scientific research output of the evaluated universities in the corresponding disciplines.
