From November 16th to 19th, the 4th International Symposium on Global Change and Biological Invasion was held in Zhenjiang. More than 200 domestic experts and scholars from nearly 100 universities and research institutes at home and abroad, as well as more than 50 foreign experts, participated in the conference to promote the development of my country's global change and alien biological invasion.
This seminar was hosted by the Biological Invasion Professional Committee of the Chinese Ecological Society and jointly organized by Jiangsu University, Taizhou University and Shenyang Agricultural University. Vice President Mei Qiang of UJS, Director Feng Yulong of the Biological Invasion Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Ecology, and Du Daolin, Dean of the School of Environmental and Safety Engineering, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.
The conference unanimously agreed that research in the field of global change and alien biological invasion is crucial to in-depth elucidation of the adaptive evolutionary mechanism of biological environment, especially the driving mechanism of successful invasion of invasive organisms under the background of global change, and to solve major global ecological environmental problems In particular, environmental health and ecological safety under the background of global change and biological invasion have laid a strong theoretical foundation.
