From March 15th to 18th, 2022, the first "CLIMATE CHANGE IN" was hosted by the Center for Environmental Management and Control, University of Nigeria, and co-organized by the School of Environment and Engineering, Jiangsu University (including Biomass Energy Research Institute, Environmental Health and Ecological Security Research Institute). The "COVID-19 ERA" International Conference was successfully held at the beautiful University of Nigeria. The conference focused on sustainable development in the post-epidemic era, aimed at the challenges of global climate change management and emergency management, and aimed to discuss the latest cutting-edge theories and technologies in related fields. Researchers from many countries participated in this international conference on-site/online.
Overcoming the impact of the epidemic, our school carefully organized nearly 30 teachers and students to participate in the meeting. Dean of our shcool Professor Du Daolin (Dean of our shcool) was invited to give a speech. In his speech, Dean Du analyzed the problems and challenges in the field of global ecological environment and emergency management in the post-epidemic era. Dean Du hopes to deepen understanding and cooperation with international counterparts through this conference; Professor Yong Yangchun, Dean of Biofuels Institute, as the Chinese sponsor of the conference, gave a conference report entitled "Photo/electron-powered CO2 Fixation and Tansformation by Biotechnolgy".
